Milisa holds a Master of Philosophy in Monitoring & Evaluation from Stellenbosch University and a Bachelors degree in Social science from Amherst College, Massachusetts. She started her M&E journey as an intern at an NGO focusing on intervention research in the rural Eastern Cape. She has worked in education research for over four years and has been involved in M&E across various sectors. She has practical experience in instrument development, data collection, capturing, coding and analysis. She also has experience leading fieldwork activities including organising logistics, training the fieldworkers and overseeing field activities.
