Nkhensani is a social worker by profession with professional experience in the fields of education and mental health. Nkhensani was an intern at BRIDGE Innovation in Learning (2019-2020). She acquired experience in the field of education through the Communities of Practice in ECD, Teacher Development, PSA, Learner Support, M & E, and School Leadership.
Nkhensani was a volunteer telephonic counsellor at the South African Depression and Anxiety Group (2021) focusing on the substance abuse helpline for university students and high school learners. Nkhensani is currently (2022) an ECD Research Officer at JET Education Services, focusing on the development of the ECD unit from the Anglo-American Education Programme. Nkhensani is an accredited ELOM assessor (2021) by the Innovation Edge. She has been an ELOM assistant trainer and has collected ELOM data at the Coal SA Business Unit in February 2022 for the JET Education Services. Nkhensani has professional experience in research methods, both qualitative and quantitative methods of study. Nkhensani presented at the Education Management of South Africa conference (2019) on Early Childhood Education (ECE) in the context of education policies for the 21st century and the power of influence. Her overall professional goal, is to contribute more to building and restoring the NGO sector.
